Mahatma Gandhi Ashram in Anaimalai, near Pollachi, will admit orphaned children from April 10.
Children without both the parents and those who have lost either the father or the mother and the surviving parent does not earn for the family, are eligible.
Children whose parents are suffering from serious illnesses, children of bonded labourers (rescued and not yet rescued), children of prisoners and HIV positive patients are also eligible.
The children should be between four and 12 years of age. Education, shelter and food will be provided free of cost.
Children can apply to the Managing Trustee, Mahatma Gandhi Ashram, Anaimalai 642 104.
